About The Role

Reporting to the Head of Asset Risk & Pricing, the Pricing Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of lease pricing for Car, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) and Powered Wheelchair Schemes (PWSS) with direct management responsibility for the Pricing Analysis Manager and Pricing Process Manager. By developing and implementing key strategic and policy decisions with the Pricing Policy Committee, the Pricing Manager will ensure that the needs of customers, manufacturers and our own business objectives are balanced to deliver affordable, sustainable customer pricing across a wide choice of vehicles.

The Role
  • Responsible for the delivery of Scheme pricing for Cars, WAVs, and PWSS, including the printed and online pricing publications
  • Lead the Pricing department of Pricing Administration and Pricing Analysis teams, with direct management of the Pricing Process Manager and Pricing Analysis Manager
  • Maintain a strong portfolio of value and affordability Scheme KPIs and internal measures, to ensure that customers have access to a wide range of excellent value vehicles and a sustainable pricelist
  • Thorough understanding of wider industry issues to drive changes where appropriate, ensuring that the Scheme remains relevant in a fast-changing automotive and mobility industry
  • Use customer and industry insight to influence and develop all aspects of our pricing approach from strategy to systems and governance
  • Influence business strategy through presentation to stakeholders at committee and forum level, in particular the Pricing Policy Committee (PPC)
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Manufacturer Relations, Finance, Asset Risk, Insurance and Business Systems
About You

You will have gained the following skills/experience:

Mandatory
  • Previous leadership experience, demonstrating excellent team building and communication skills
  • Experience of influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work with technical subject matter and to tight deadlines

Desirable   

    • Advanced analytical skills
    • Good background knowledge of lease pricing
    • Relevant experience of delivering Pricing
