About The Role
Excellent opportunity to join our Manufacturer & Dealer Services team.  You will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships between Motability Operations, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) converters and adaptations installers to drive the delivery of outstanding customer products and services.  In addition you will be consistently delivering sustainable pricing supporting value and choice for all stakeholders, developing insight into the conversion and adaptation industry and use that knowledge to deliver a relevant, sustainable and robust proposition.
 
You will be responsible for:
  • Supplier Relationships - Ensure an effective business partnership between Motability Operations and all participating & prospective conversion and adaptation suppliers. Continuous review and management of all conversion and adaptation supplier relationships to support a robust and sustainable proposition for Motability customers
  • Pricing - Work in partnership with suppliers to negotiate a sustainable price guide which provides a wide choice of affordable WAV’s, Drive-from-Wheelchair (DFW) vehicles and adaptations that meet customer needs
  • CSI - Constantly look for ways to deliver improving performance levels for WAV, DFW and Adaptation related CSI and related measures
  • Team Engagement - Lead a team of four Account Managers and three office co-ordinators ensure they are motivated to successfully deliver clearly defined objectives. Ensure that all members of the team are engaged and appropriately directed to support achievements of MO objectives
  • Governance and Budget - Ensure that MO policy is adhered to and that budgets are developed and managed effectively
About You
You will have gained the following experience/skills:
 
Minimum
  • Evidence of development and execution of new ideas with proven quantifiable benefit
  • Understands the business and commercial objectives of supplier partners
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to manipulate and present data effectively using MS Office
  • Graduate calibre 
Desirable
  • Knowledge of the Motor industry – particularly fleet relationship management in a vehicle manufacturer, contract hire, or dealer environment
  • Experience of leading a team of field and office based employees to achieve objectives
