About The Role

This role is for an experienced marketing executive with a proven track record in delivering both on and off-line marketing campaigns. This role will support our plans to increase awareness and understanding of the Motability Scheme through a variety of channels including (but not limited to) direct mail, e-mail, content, social and other digital tools. Additionally, this role includes the opportunity to pilot and test new marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys working in a small but friendly team and is happy to roll up their sleeves, offer opinions and ideas and get involved. The role would be ideal for a highly organised individual, with an analytical mind-set and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include: 
  • Working closely with the Customer Marketing Manager to devise and deliver integrated marketing campaigns designed to drive awareness and interest in the Motability Scheme
  • Oversee and maintain campaign plans, including conducting on-going planning calls and communicating plans and results to internal and external audiences
  • Work closely with suppliers (eg creative & digital agencies) and internal stakeholders to deliver a range of activities on brand and on time
  • Collaborate with wider marketing team on Scheme awareness programs
  • Execute measurable campaigns using a variety of channels including (but not limited to) email, web, content, social and direct mail
  • Ensure optimum delivery of brand messages for awareness and data capture opportunities to support conversion activities
  • Review and refine targets and metrics for marketing campaign reach and engagement, monitor results to ensure success and/or required adjustment to strategy or tactics
  • Use insights and analytics to pilot new marketing initiatives, from inception to delivery
  • Produce and deliver relevant targeted and engaging follow up campaigns to convert interested eligible audiences into customers including, but not limited to email and direct mail
About You
You will have gained the following skills/experience:
  • Solid experience of working in a marketing-based role, with specific experience in devising and delivering digital, print and social campaigns
  • Passionate about delivering successful campaigns and going the extra mile to do this
  • Experience using social media ad tools, design software (photoshop) and content management systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends in data and experience of reporting for marketing campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve deadlines
  • Comfortable with change, confident to own projects and get the job done
  • Experience with managing external suppliers and agencies
  • Ability to work effectively with many different external and internal stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent writing and copy-editing skills (developing compelling/engaging campaign messaging, web copy, email copy, etc)
  • Budget management skills


  • Marketing (or relevant) degree or marketing qualification
  • Previous experience of working in services or automotive sector
  • Problem solver, decision maker and creative thinker
