About The Role

Reporting to the Digital Lead, this role will be responsible for evaluating and introducing marketing technology capabilities as part of the digital transformation journey.

Collaborating closely with Business Systems (IT), partners and suppliers, the Product Specialist will be part of an exciting team that will be responsible for defining and delivering the marketing technology capabilities that are required to deliver a world class digital experience and supporting business growth. The team will also be responsible for putting together a credible business. Following this will be the challenge of managing the implementation through scoping and selection, as well as working with teams to optimise adoption and impact of the technology.
This is a new role which will evolve as is to be expected when working in an Agile delivery framework, but primarily the post holder will

Responsibilities include: 
  • Be responsible for defining target customer and internal journeys, defining prioritised list of initiatives and guiding procurement choices on tools and platforms Work with IT teams to develop the architecture model for tying together various capabilities and technologies
  • Work with business stakeholders and partners to deliver the capabilities that have already been identified. One of these is to help users find our dealers via major search engines. This is a big project requiring process mapping and defining the ideal user experience and journey for both internal and external customers to manage franchisees
  • Be responsible for developing product vision and creating timelines and roadmaps for delivering these and ensuring success of the various work streams
  • Ensure business requirements and customer needs are clearly defined, captured and validated before they are formalised into user stories and developed into product features
About You
You should be customer-centric and naturally inclined to put customers at the centre of development to meet their needs, solve their problems and always look to improve the customer experience. You are passionate about digital, using data to support informed decision-making at all levels, and enjoy working with technology, data and systems.
You will have gained the following skills/experience:
  • Experience and knowledge of marketing technologies such as CMS, campaign management, data platforms, etc.
  • Excellent oral and interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and work with all levels within the organisation
  • Passionate about digital technology with a desire to keep on top of new technologies and share these best practices with the overall team
  • Experience of working in an Agile framework


  • Good understanding of marketing processes

  • Participated in implementing new marketing technologies
