About The Role
We are looking for a passionate, hands-on, cloud network infrastructure engineer to play a key role in the development, support and continual improvement of our cloud platform service. Reporting into the Technical Delivery Lead, this role will work closely with application and development teams to ensure that the platform continuously supports business needs as well as fulfilling core network and security requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone with the technical aptitude, passion and drive to help support and improve cloud infrastructure services with focus on using the latest methodologies and technologies.

You will be part of the Platform Engineering team within our IT Operations function delivering a robust and scalable platform as a service.

About You
You will have gained the following skills/experience:
 
Mandatory
  • Proficient knowledge of AWS Networking Services i.e. VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateways, WAF, NACL, SG etc
  • Familiar with Network Infrastructure Management (Palo Alto, Panorama or similar)
  • Knowledge and experience of core Networking principles (TCP/IP, Packet Capture, Dynamic Routing – BGP,OSPF)
  • Proven experience in delivering successful Cloud based services
  • Experience working with scalable networking technologies such as Load Balancers/Firewalls and web standards
  • Understanding of Cloud strategy and architecture
  • Understanding of network concepts in relation to On-premise, Hybrid and Cloud  environments
  • Working with development methodologies: Agile, Scrum
  • AWS and/or CISCO Certified
  • Can work effectively with Manage Service Providers/ and 3rd parties
  • Familiar with Cloud Security, Identity, compliance and standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates and key management
