About The Role
We are looking for an experienced IT Service Management Lead to join our IT Operations function. Reporting into the Service Delivery Manager your key responsibility will be to drive quality and operational efficiency of IT Service Management, ensuring governance and management of activities within Change Management, Release management, Service Measurement and Continual Improvement processes. You will also have line management responsibility of up to 5 direct reports. Together with the Service Delivery Manager; the ITSM Lead will be responsible for defining and driving the ITSM strategy and roadmap and grow the SM team.
 
The ITSM team provides centralised service management to Motability Operations and ensures all IT changes and releases are implemented in a controlled manner. The team is also responsible for continual improvement of the SM processes, cloud cost management and service design and transition.
About You
You will have gained the following skills/experience:
 
Mandatory
  • Extensive experience as a Service Management Practitioner/ lead
  • Experience of implementing service management in a hybrid environment (cloud + on-premise) and understanding of digital services
  • Line Management experience/ has worked in a leadership position
  • Possess high emotional intelligence and empathy and is collaborative
  • ITIL Intermediate Qualifications or higher
  • Experience of effectively managing suppliers/ managed service providers
  • Is articulate and has good presentation skills
