About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Service Design &Transition Leader to own and mature our Service Design and Transition process as well as successfully lead and line manage our Service Design & Transition Managers. This role requires working closely and collaboratively with a large number of internal operational & development teams as well as our managed service provider(s).

This is a great opportunity for someone with passion and drive to shape our new cloud and digital services. This role will require excellent stakeholder management.

About You
We are looking for someone with a positive and flexible outlook and a ‘change mindset’, who can demonstrate leadership, complete ownership and practising knowledge of Service Design & Transition. You should be able to communicate effectively at all levels and have strong influencing and presentations skills. You should be able to identify, define and help implement process improvements and drive process maturity. Excellent understanding of cloud / digital services and a hybrid environment is essential.

Minimum Criteria
  • Management/ Lead role in Service Design and Transition
  • Can demonstrate leadership and line management skills
  •  Process expertise and ability to develop and mature processes
  • Developing Support Models, Service Design packages & artefacts supporting the go-live of new services
  • Evidence of working with matrixed support teams to ensure readiness for go-live and handover of new technology in to support
  • Can chair Transition Governance Forums and provide necessary steer on Service Readiness
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – ability to present to senior management & lead workshops and meetings confidently
  • ITIL and Agile experience
