About The Role
6 Months Contract, Inside IR35
 
The key responsibility of this role is to plan and deliver IT Projects within the Security & Sustainability Programme. The workstreams that you’ll be assigned to is focused on Digital Workplace initiatives, including the implementation of Microsoft Teams, Replatforming & refresh of the Intranet and other supporting O365 capabilities. You will report into the Manager of the Project Management Practice and work closely with Security and Sustainability Programme Manager.
Your key responsibilities are:
  • Leading project initiation activities including the production of required initiation artefacts
  • Collaborating with company-wide stakeholders to define, assess and prioritise scope
  • Establishing effective ways of working across the workstream
  • Driving effective communications with all stakeholders proactively through working groups and other means
  • Working closely with delivery partners to understand and apply best practice concerning successful user adoption
  • Driving value from delivery partners through effective planning, management and communication
  • Forming delivery schedules that enable the release of business value at increments
  • Ensuring that delivery schedules recognise and incorporate dependencies with other projects across the portfolio
  • Successful milestone based project delivery to time, cost and quality
  • Managing risks, issues and dependencies to resolution
  • Ensuring that transition approaches are considered from both a technical and business context, to minimise any impact to operations
  • Providing clear and accurate delivery reporting that meets programme and company standards
  • Forming collaborative relationships with stakeholders and others across the workstream, programme and wider business
  • Managing project budgets – forecast, actuals and variance management & reporting
  • Actively contribute to the wider project management community to share ways of working, ideas, challenges and best practice

Minimium Criteria
  • Strong and demonstratable experience in project management/delivery management within agreed schedule, quality, and budget
  • Experience of implementing Digital Workplace tooling (MS Teams, etc.) 
  • Experience of O365 deployments across a dispersed user base
  • Experience of using Agile and hybrid frameworks
  • Proven stakeholder management 
  • A core understanding of the project management lifecycle across frameworks
  • Experience in the identification, assessment, and management of risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Experience of working with and managing multiple delivery partners
  • Experience of working in a matrix management environment
