About The Role
Our IT Roadmap defines our next steps in replacing legacy systems and delivering efficiency, innovation and future business agility.

This position is a great opportunity for the right person to be part of an IT team that is at the forefront of driving IT implementations across a range of technologies. Reporting into the IT Portfolio Manager, this is a highly accountable role to ensure the successful delivery of the IT Portfolio.

Working closely with the team you will have responsibility for;
  • Coordinating and supporting in all aspects of the day-to day running of the of the Portfolio Management Office (PMO)
  • Providing business support including; arranging internal and external meetings, facilitating virtual meetings using various online platforms
  • Preparing meeting packs for project and programme steering committees and taking accurate and concise minutes
  • Ensuring the agreed project methods, standards and governance controls are maintained
  • Supporting with the development, implementation and maintenance of various reporting/tracking methods including milestone planning
  • Finance, RAID, contingency and project/ programme reporting
  • Maintaining & optimising the agreed PMO toolset to support effective delivery Manning the team mailbox, prioritising e-mails and actioning requests in line with SLA’s
  • Tracking actual expenditure against project/programme budgets and working with project/programme managers to capture actual costs and reforecast monthly
About You
You will have gained the following experience/skills:
  • You love being highly organised and take pride in managing your workload efficiently to meet deadlines across multiple workstreams 
  • You are passionate about PMO and have experience of working within a high functioning PMO and an understanding of project management methods, reporting tools and techniques, processes and risk management 
  • You’ll be experienced in resource and capacity management with the ability to work across multiple workstreams 
  • You’ll have the ability to create meeting agendas, confidently minute meetings and produce accurate minutes
  • You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to think critically and work independently 
  • You’ll demonstrate attention to detail and precision in everything you do
  • You’ll have the ability to simplify complex data and plans to enable transparency and effective decision making 
  • Enjoy building strong relationships with project managers to ensure robust monitoring and delivery in line with best practise 
  • You’ll enjoy being a source of knowledge and expertise, assisting with delivery across multiple disciplines and functions 
Minimum Criteria
  • Leading successful project and programme delivery with autonomy
  • Facilitating large workshops / meetings
  • Presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Working in a matrix management environment
  • Reviewing and implementing best practices process
  • Senior stakeholder management
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills and highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
